WA Institute of Technology which became Curtin University in 1987

Most of my working life has been associated with WAIT which then became Curtin University. During that time I was involved in the development of courses in Computer Systems Engineering and Mechatronics.

My main emphasis over the years has been the development of Embedded Systems and for quite a time I was coordinator of the stream of units covering this field.

I have had many years of experience in Unix and in the C programming language as well as Forth. I have designed many teaching systems for embedded systems over the years.

I have been seconded to other organisations over the years but the main theme of my career has been teaching in the Computer Systems field.
