Early Life and family background
The following are my random reminiscences about my life and work. Any relationship between these and your reality is purely coincidental!
I went to Redruth County Grammar School.
My father was an electrical engineer & Methodist local preacher!
My grandfathers were both mining engineers. One was also a singer and an inventor! He made audio recordings in 1938.(Use Firefox to hear the sound bytes)
One of my great grandfather’s was a mine captain at East Pool Mine.

I spent most of my teenage years on the beach as a surfer, surf lifesaver and general surfbum!! The beach I spent my time on was Porthtowan on the North coast of Kernow.
